How it all began
Sanica and Justin’s journey began at Indiana University, where they were classmates, friends, and partners-in-crime for a shared major and nearly identical class schedules. A small coding group in one of their classes set the stage for their friendship, and before long, they realized they were perfect for each other.
Their relationship officially began just before the pandemic—a unique challenge that tested their resilience and creativity. With distance between them, they visited each other often, making every moment together count. Despite the uncertainty of the times, their relationship only grew stronger.

After the pandemic, they both made the move to Chicago to start their professional lives. A year later, they took a big step forward, moving into their first apartment together. This cozy home soon became the backdrop for two major milestones: welcoming their beloved dog into the family and, later, their engagement.
Sanica and Justin share a love for adventure, exploring amazing destinations like Madrid, Disney World, New York, and even the hidden charms of Alabama. But they’re just as happy at home, enjoying their favorite shows and cozy nights in, cuddled up with their dog.
From coding classmates to life partners, their story is one of growth, love, and countless shared laughs. They can’t wait to begin this next chapter together and are thrilled to celebrate it with all of you!
